Electronic Filing & Reporting System (EFS)
Is Up & Running!
The EFS is now "live" and is a resounding success! Members currently using the system are singing its praises and reporting that it is extremely fast and easy to use. Nearly half of our filings are now coming in electronically!
If you have not yet signed up for EFS, simply download the Membership Registration Pack and follow the instructions for "Current Members Registering for Electronic Filing."
The system is designed as a menu-driven, task-driven, fully prompted and easy-to-use application. In addition, each screen features context-sensitive help. For an overview of the system, refer to Bulletin 31: EFS Overview which is available on our website. We will also be happy to schedule a demonstration for you if you contact the Association.
Do not look for a link to the electronic filing system from our main website. For security reasons, the link to the EFS is not published on our site but is, instead, sent to each EFS Administrator as the membership is activated on the efile system. It is the EFS Administrator's responsibility to disseminate the link to the other users that they set up for their membership account.
Remember, policies for Lloyd's of London must be sent to Lloyd's Illinois, Inc. and cannot be entered directly by the member into the SLA's efile system. For more information on processing Lloyd's policies, contact Lloyd's Illinois or the SLAI. Also refer to Bulletin 33: EFS Registration to be Mandatory for Lloyd's Producers.
