How do I file an endorsement to
change the insurer on a policy?
Paper Filers
File the
endorsement as you would any another endorsement.
EFS Filers
Click on
"Your SLAI Filings" and look up the policy. Once you
find it, click "Endorse" at the right side of the record.
The "Enter
a Filing" screen will appear with most of the fields already
filled in for you. Change the insurer on the
endorsement to the new insurer, fill in the
effective date, then fill in premium associated with this
endorsement (usually zero).
Click "Submit."
